about us
Our Mission
Ross Dance Company is a professional Christian praise dance company founded by Dr. Tecsia Evans and Dwight Evans in August 2005 in Oakland, CA. Our mission is to use contemporary dance as a way to spread the Gospel and to bring those closer to Christ. Psalm 150:2 says to Praise Him for His mighty acts; praise Him for His excellent greatness. As a non-profit, we are privileged to use our ministry as a way to equip and encourage praise dancers through our classes and conferences and to inspire communities through our concerts. Ross has performed in a variety of venues such as, Joyce Soho in New York to City of Refuge in Los Angeles, an internationally known ministry pastored by Bishop Noel Jones. We are committed to community outreach and helping dancers grow in their ministries through our classes and conference. We also offer consultations and private workshops to praise dance programs to help them further their skills in leadership, choreography, and teaching. Our anointed team of staff, volunteers and professional dancers are truly committed to using our gifts to inspire, educate and give glory to God.
